Additionally, I made some tasting mats that were made to look worn with wet rings of past tastings left on the paper circling each mark name. The menu and glass covers are also using the same light ivory corrugated paper.
Aberlour Tastings
The Aberlour tastings are a chance for the public to get a taste of selected Aberlour marks. The assignment was to create a look authentic to the brand and incorporate a crafted feel. The Scotch Whisky brand is meticulously crafted and aged in wood barrels. I took the direction of crafted in wood and carved the event details into a slab of oak all within the shape of an Aberlour bottle. I placed some tools to bring home the hand crafted feel.
